A native Harlemite, Katrina discovered a love for filmmaking at an early age. She honed her skills by studying Film production and editing at The School of Visual Arts, The New York Institute of Technology and Austin School of Film, where she gained a solid foundation in both the technical and artistic aspects of filmmaking. Her career as a corporate designer heavily influences her graphic work using color saturation in her film work.

Looking ahead, Katrina is poised to continue her journey of creative exploration. She aspire to continue her work in teaching filmmaking to children and telling the stories of the people in her community, staying true to her commitment to meaningful and impactful storytelling.
